Beasts in the Arena include the vicious Ostriches, the terrifying Giraffe, the Mighty Rhino... and presenting... Cheetah the floured chimp.
Once again the Ostriches provide hilarious entertainment as the dwarf cant catch them... |
The sad eyed giraffe stands there and is killed by a savage gladiator. The crowd are uneasy over this one... |
The beast fest continues as the mighty Rhino tramples a gladiator. |
Cheetah the floured chimp kills his opponent on round three... Its beasts two, Gladiators two. But that giraffe was hardly a proud example of Roman sport... |
Bout Two: Gladiators vs Criminals
Balinus and Gimlius against full size criminals
The two Secutors get in close and destroy the Criminals with ease. |
Bout Four: Two Dwarves vs One Woman...
Gratzia Bibendum handles two Dwarves at once!
Gratzia puts one down and then struggles to kill the other one as his sustained rolls keep him alive. Turns out she handled them both since she wins the bout. |
Bout Five: One vs One around a bonfire
The big Thracian showdown.
"I`m Fartakiss!" The two Thracians fight around the bonfire. At least one good kick into the flames can be reported, loads of charges, counters and movement. A rare draw awarded with both having 4 VIT at the end. The Crowd loved it, excellent game. Both Newline Designs figures. |
Bout Six: The Dwarf Primus: One vs One
Balinus defends his title as "Prince of Dwarves."
Balinus puts his Dwarf down to reign supreme. After the Thracian bout its an anti climax, but it closes the Festival. |
Band here we close the festival of Vulcania, as even the jaded Ostian crowd has had enough of Biggus Brutus and his Dwarves...
